Privacy Policy — ClassTimer
Effective date: October 23, 2026
ClassTimer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or browsing data.
What is stored, and where. Bell schedules, school and period names, special-day dates, appearance settings, keyboard preferences, and the current timer state are saved only on your device, in Chrome's local extension storage. This data is used only to run the timer. It is never sent to the developer or any third party.
Chrome sync (optional, off unless you turn it on). If you turn on Sync in ClassTimer, your schools, bell schedules and settings are also saved in Chrome's own sync storage so they appear on other computers where you are signed in to Chrome. That copy is handled by Google as part of your Chrome sync data under Google's privacy policy; ClassTimer has no server and cannot read it. Turning sync off stops it.
Network access. By default the extension makes no network requests. If you choose to enter a schedule feed address, the extension downloads that file (special-day dates and bell schedules) from the address you entered, without cookies or credentials, and nothing is uploaded. You can remove the address at any time.
What the extension cannot do. It has no access to the web pages you visit, your browsing history, tabs, or other extensions. It uses no analytics, advertising, tracking, user accounts, or remote code.
Your control. Export or erase all data from the extension's Settings page, or remove everything by uninstalling the extension.
